Sadé Powell is a multi-disciplinary artist and photographer born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. Sadé uses her creative practice to pay tribute to what has shaped her identity, including the American South and its landscape. She strives to document everyday people of the American South within the context of simple depictions of Black people while telling meaningful stories that serve as a testament to the beauty in everyday life.
